Sarah Palin: A dope by 5th Grade geography standards

People would ask me who I was voting for prior to the election. I generally avoid getting into political conversations in depth, so I usually would say something like:

I used to like McCain before he started campaigning. Then when he picked that numbskull chucklehead Palin for his VP, that was the nail in the coffin for me.

I can't tell you how many odd looks I got from people with that answer. Several women who I said that too smiled in a "oh you poor dear" way and said some version of "You just don't like her because she's a woman." Men just shook their heads and said some version of "Yeah but she's hot."

I weep for the future, and thank God we dodged THAT bullet.

It would be stupid to think Obama is going to change the world overnight, or even in four years. Its going to be an uphill battle for him to get anything done for a billion reasons, but I'm fairly sure he could pass a 5th grade geography test.
